Trade Issues Caused by Exchange Rate Fluctuations

Recently, the exchange rate between RMB and U.S.dollar has attracted the whole world attention.
RMB exchange rate for the dollar continuously renovated the rate adjustment and broke 6.77,6.76,6.74. It seems that revaluation  will show an acceleration. On 21st sep one u.s.dollar equals to 6.6997 RMB. Higher than the before for 113 basis and set a new record.
Continuous appreciation of RMB has significant influence on our export trade.
The appreciation of EMB means that 1 dollar will exchage less and less RMB. For exporters, the amount of RMB they get will decrease
because exchange rate when exports 1 dollar goods. To some degree, the profit of exporters will be influenced. While from the point of importers' view,they will pay less RMB to buy 1 dollar abroad goods. That is to say, when import cost is decreasing the profit is increasing.
On the whole, The appreciation of RMB is good for import, however, is not good for export. But because the different industries and
cost structure, we should regard the influence of RMB appreciation to Import&Export Enterprises by discriminate analysis.
